The First Working Meeting Held at PSTU within the HEI-TRAIN Project
On May 26, 2025, the first working meeting of the PSTU HEI-TRAIN project team took place at the Pryazovskyi State Technical University (PSTU).

A key focus of the meeting was the establishment of horizontal connections between the university’s structural units. It was determined that the project would serve as a platform for interfaculty collaboration, engaging faculty members, students, and administrative staff from all PSTU faculties. This approach will not only allow for more efficient resource distribution but also enhance the university’s innovation potential by combining knowledge and practices from various fields.
During the meeting, the team discussed the main directions of the initiative’s implementation: launching an innovative academic course for students, creating a freelance school, developing an online knowledge-sharing platform, establishing a mentoring system, supporting startups, and organizing an international startup festival.
Coordinators for each area of work were appointed to ensure synergy between departments. Active preparation is underway for a series of training sessions that will cover the development of entrepreneurial skills and the application of innovative approaches using artificial intelligence.
Special attention will be paid to involving representatives from all faculties — from technical to humanities — in the educational process, aiming to create a truly interdisciplinary environment.
This meeting marked the starting point for profound changes in the structure and culture of the university, laying the foundation for the formation of a cohesive, open, and innovative ecosystem at PSTU.
