CRENG innovative learning environment at PSTU 2021/01/18

In the framework of the CRENG project CRENG innovative learning environment was developed at the Faculty of Transport Technologies. The CRENG innovative learning environment includes modern CRENG Laboratory and Virtual Class Room equipped with computer technic and appropriate software, where students will acquire practical skills on using intelligence, digital and information technologies for risks and risks engineering.

Based on the analysis of existing program products, the AnyLogic software, has been chosen for educational needs. AnyLogic is a software, which allow to create simulation models of systems of different scale (enterprises, supply chains, cargo and passenger transportations, warehouse, sea port etc.), execute analysis of system functioning under conditions of risks and optimize parameters of systems functioning; to execute scenario analysis necessary for working out of action plan in cases of crisis appearance; to visualize simulation models in 2D and 3D.

To provide communication of students engaged in IPBL (International Project Based Leaning), providing webinars and on-line conferences the virtual class room was created at PSTU.

The main equipment, which was bought by the CRENG budjet to ensure the operation of CRENG innovative learning environment are: Think Station with Monitor ThinkVision (5 itms), Personal Computers (12 items), Notebooks (4 items), Projectors (4 items), MFD (4 items), Digital Camera (1 items)

All these equipment and software are used during the refresh courses for organizational, enterprises, employers and other stakeholders.
