On December 15, 2020 the Open Ceremony of the project Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan / DigEco 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP took place at the ZOOM platform.
The Project Coordinator Zaneta Simanaviciene Prof., the Head of Business Innovation Laboratory Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania) opened the Ceremony. Aurelia Puraite, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean for Research and Marius Laurinaitis, Associate Professor of Economics and Business at the Institute of Finance of Mykolas Romeris University presented the University to the Participants
Kateryna Polupanova, Head of the International Projects Department and Tetyana Gorokhova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of Marketing and Business Administration of Priazovsky State Technical University – the local coordinator of DigEco for Ukraine, presented overall project plans
DigEco partners from different countries acquainted their colleagues with their institutions and project teams. The University of Maribor (Slovenia) was represented by Professor Boštjan Brumen Professor for data technologies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Computer Science, Institute of Informatics and Professor for Technologies in Tourism at the Faculty of Tourism.
Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S.Osimi Prof. Mamadamon Abdulloev, Project Coordinator in Tajikistan presented the University as well as representatives of Tajik State University of Finance and Economics and Khujand Polytechnic Institute of Tajik Technical University and Nonacademic Partner Neksigol Navovar from Tajikistan told about achievements of the organizations.
Ukraine was represented by partners from Admiral Makarov National University оf Shipbuilding (Mykolaiv), Zhytomir Polytechnic State University, Kamianets-Podіlskyi National Ivan Ohiienko University, Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University (Militopol). In total, there were 34 participants at the event.
Currently the Digeco consortium is preparing for a kick-off conference, where the main project implementation strategies and expected results will be approved for implementation.
